Request for information: Technology solutions serving community-based health and social care providers
Open application
Are you a vendor who delivers tech-enabled solutions to community-based health and social care providers operating in the Medicaid billing space?
The Camden Coalition is seeking information about vendors who can provide and customize affordable solutions for community-based providers as they begin to identify, scope and invest in the technology they will need to participate in new Medicaid programming.
Summaries or portions of responses may be publicized and shared with the provider community to inform their processes for assessing and procuring technology. We request responses back by midnight on Monday, April 7, 2025.
Who should respond to the request for information?
We are looking for responses from vendors who offer tech-enabled solutions appropriate for community-based providers (eg: supportive housing providers; social service agencies) and/or community-based clinical providers who deliver services that address health-related social needs. Vendors accustomated to supporting providers who have not billed Medicaid in the past or who are looking to invest in infrastructure to grow, sustain or streamline current workflows for Medicaid-billable services are also encouraged to respond.
What type of information is being requested?
- Background/introduction that describes your company or organization, including your key markets and interest in providing solutions to providers who deliver services addressing health-related social needs
- Clarify your existing capabilities regarding functionality components outlined in Section 2, including interoperability and any current integrations in place with other major vendors.
- Describe your experience supporting states, community-based providers and/or payers with technology solutions that facilitate 1115 implementations.
- Please list 2-3 key clients or customers and how they have leveraged your product(s).
- Please share the extent to which you currently serve NJ-based clients.
- Describe your general pricing structure (including implementation, maintenance, cost per user, updates and technical assistance).
- Discuss your interest in potential group procurement processes in which multiple provider organizations come together to invest in shared platform. What kind of pricing structures could you offer to support this kind of arrangement?
- Please provide ballpark pricing for a sample community-based HRSN provider organization with fewer than 15 users interested in your basic product offering for a 2-year contract. Assume the organization has never billed Medicaid and has an annual operating budget of under $4 million.
- Please share a blurb or paragraph in your own words that can be shared with potential customers highlighting your unique target market and strengths, and ability to support smaller providers looking to affordably improve their IT infrastructure in alignment with new service and payment requirements within Medicaid.
