New Jersey FY 2020 budget renews support for Camden Coalition’s Housing First program and officially recognizes organization as Regional Health Hub

Statement by Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers CEO Kathleen Noonan

By including the Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers’ Housing First Program and the Regional Health Hub model in the FY 2020 budget, New Jersey leaders take an important step toward better health outcomes across the state. Designation of the Camden Coalition as a Regional Health Hub represents a real validation of not only the work our organization has done to improve health outcomes for vulnerable New Jerseyans, but also our potential to make an even greater future impact. The Camden Coalition is grateful to Governor Murphy, legislative leadership, and the Camden delegation for their continued support of our organization, and we look forward to continuing our work with the state and the other three Health Hubs — Trenton Health Team, Healthy Greater Newark, and the Health Coalition of Passaic County — to fully implement our collective Regional Health Hub vision.
