Office Hours for Complex Care: How to Establish and Maintain Street Medicine Programs within a Hospital Setting
This Office Hours session features Dr. Sheryl Fleisch, a psychiatrist at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Fleisch provided information and answered questions about how to launch and maintain similar programs in partnership with hospitals and medical centers.

Street medicine and other homeless outreach programs have been designed to address these challenges by providing services in public spaces in order to reach individuals with need in their own environment. Many such programs operate separately from hospitals, but there are opportunities to make connections between the two that facilitate successful treatment and engagement.
