Social workers are integral members of healthcare teams, often called upon by providers for their expertise in areas that other medical providers may not be trained to navigate. However, few providers are able to articulate the specific contribution of social workers on healthcare teams, and methods for financing social work involvement remain a challenge. Robyn discussed her experience and fielded questions from participants on making the case for social work in primary care.
