Renee is the Director of Education and Training at the Camden
Coalition. In this role she creates content and curriculum, facilitates trainings on our COACH and RELATE models, and offers expert advising to health systems and community-based organizations both locally and across the nation. She is a Subject Matter Expert on the Camden Core Model and the COACH and RELATE frameworks. She supported the development of the Camden Coalition’s COACH and RELATE patient engagement strategies, both of which have been scaled at Boston Medical Center, Providence St. Joseph’s Health System and other health systems and
social service organizations across the country.
She spent several years leading, guiding and mentoring the RNs, social workers, LPNs and CHWs on the Coalition’s Care Management Team, who work with the most medically and socially complex patients throughout the city of Camden, New Jersey.
Renee’s earlier work at the Camden Coalition focused on designing and implementing a group prenatal and pediatric care model that worked with pregnant women throughout the City of Camden.
Prior to joining the Camden Coalition, Renee was a teacher and admissions director at a local high school. She also worked as a RN on an oncology unit at a Philadelphia hospital in addition to working as a Forensic Nurse Examiner – Certified Sexual Assault in Camden County. She is a graduate of St. Joseph’s University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology at Rutgers University, where she earned her BSN.
