Our Community Advisory Committee (CAC) exists to enable healthcare consumers to take an active role in improving their own health and that of their family and community.
The CAC helps to guide the strategic direction of the organization by advising the Board of Trustees on consumer and community health needs.
Chair: Bishop Gus Swain
Vice chair: Andre Davis
For the safety of our community during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are no longer meeting in person for the foreseeable future. We are regularly adapting when and how often we engage with our members based on feedback we receive through our proactive outreach. Therefore, if you want to receive invitations to join virtual/phone meetings and information about partner events, please sign up here. You can also connect with us by joining the Camden Coalition Community Advisory Committee Facebook group.
The CAC is also involved in citywide community health initiatives like Take Back Our Health. Read about the inaugural Take Back Our Health Day on our blog.
Becoming a CAC member
Community Advisory Committee membership is limited to Camden city residents. To join the CAC, please complete an application and submit it at one of the monthly meetings. Applications are reviewed by CAC leadership on the second Wednesday of each month. Approval notices will be mailed prior to the next CAC meeting.
