Bio: Kym Centaro has worked in the human services field for over 25 years and has lived experience in the areas of trauma and substance abuse. She is a Registered Masters Level Addiction Specialist and certified as a Life Coach, Mind and Body Practitioner, Addiction Counselor, Motivational Interviewer, Interventionist, and in the Recovery Empowerment Model (TREM). She currently serves as Housing and Wellness Division Director for the Community Support Network and is pursuing her graduate degree in Non-Profit Management Leadership. Kym has been on multiple projects nationally and specializes in program design/redesign, building staff culture and creating healthy, wholistic staff teams, and CalAIM Implementation – including Enhanced Care Management and Community Supports. She is active member of Statewide Collaborative and Advocacy groups in California, was a member of the Camden Coalition Complex Care Supervisor’s Certification working group, a co-facilitator of the monthly Community Partner Collaborative in Sonoma County, California. Her goals are to continue breaking down the silos in system, building up clients through strength-based and trauma informed interventions, and networking to establish a stronger system of care.
