Are you working to improve care for people with complex health and social needs? Are you breaking down silos and bringing organizations together into an ecosystem of care in your community? Share your innovative programs, resources, tools, and partnerships at Putting Care at the Center 2025, this year’s annual conference for the field of complex care.

The Putting Care at the Center conference offers three ways to engage with attendees: workshops, the interactive Beehive, and the 2-Minute Buzz. Workshops are oral presentations for participants that include slides and interactive discussion. The Beehive is the conference’s semi-structured networking space, where facilitators will be given a station at which to share their work with conference attendees as they circulate through the space. The 2-Minute Buzz is a TED Talk-like opportunity for speakers to take the stage to share a novel idea, perspective on a topic, or research finding with the audience in just two minutes.

These opportunities are open to leaders, practitioners, students, researchers, advocates, and others wishing to share open–source resources and tools, innovative programs and partnerships, field experiences, and significant research findings.

If you represent a company, foundation, or other organization looking to elevate your brand, promote your proprietary products and services, and grow your customer base, we welcome you to present your work as a conference sponsor.

Workshop applications

Applications to present a workshop are now open.

Formatted like traditional breakout sessions, workshop presentations are intended to expose participants to knowledge and skills that are relevant and immediately actionable to the complex care field. These could range from describing a particular care model, teaching a specific skill, or discussing particular research finding or policy topic.

Workshop presentations can be formatted as any listed below, and priority will be given to interactive sessions:

  • Experiential training/facilitated work sessions
  • Lecture/panel presentations
  • Small group discussions

Deadline to submit a Beehive station application is March 5, 2025.

Beehive applications

Applications to facilitate a Beehive station are now open.

The Beehive is the semi-structured networking and innovation space at the conference. The goal is to share emerging knowledge, experience, strategy, and challenges with and among attendees, and secure new allies and potential collaborators. Watch this video to learn more.

Beehive station submissions should aim to raise relevant issues, showcase research and innovation related to complex care, and facilitate exchange and conversation with a diverse audience of practitioners and people with lived experience from across the country.

There are two ways to participate in the Beehive:

  • Poster station
  • Tabletop station

Deadline to submit a Beehive station application is May 7, 2025.

2-Minute Buzz applications

Applications to speak at the 2-Minute Buzz are now open.

In the 2-Minute Buzz event, speakers will take the stage to share a novel idea, perspective on a topic, or research finding with the audience in just two minutes. Drawing inspiration from the University of Pennsylvania’s acclaimed 60-Second Lectures, this new presentation opportunity takes the energy of a TED Talk and condenses it into just two minutes. Watch the video to learn more.

The 2-Minute Buzz will be held on a side stage during the Beehive on Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning. Conference attendees will gather in the designated 2-Minute Buzz space to watch five speakers during each timeslot offer fresh perspectives, innovative solutions, and thought-provoking insights related to the field of complex care.

Deadline to submit 2-Minute Buzz application is May 7, 2025.
