Topics include developing a leadership style, building a psychologically safe team culture, providing reflective supervision, designing and managing complex care programs, building relationships across systems, and advocating effectively.
  • Accreditation: Learners who enroll in the Independent learner option can claim up to 6 continuing education credits upon completion of the self-paced courses. Learners who enroll in the Learning collective option can claim up to 12 continuing education credits upon completion of the self-paced courses and virtual debrief sessions.

The organization recently launched the Complex Care Certificate for Team Leaders, which is an online curriculum created for current and aspiring supervisors, program managers, and directors supporting healthcare and social service teams and complex care programs. Developed from the core competencies for complex care team leaders, the certificate provides the practical knowledge, skills, and tools team leaders need to support, grow, and sustain successful complex care teams and programs. Learners can complete the program as part of a national cohort through the Learning collective or on their own through the Independent learner option. Through 6 dynamic, self-paced courses, team leaders will learn how to:

  • Hone their leadership style

  • Build a supervisory alliance with their team
  • Design and manage complex care programs

The certificate courses include multiple online learning methods, downloadable resources, tools and templates, post-course activities, opportunities to connect with team leaders across the country, and up to 12 continuing education credits upon completing the program.
