Supporting and enhancing the complex care workforce capacity is essential and challenging. Community Based Coordination Solutions (CBC Solutions) is a national organization that provides coordination support to individuals who have high use of local health systems. CBC Solutions partnered with Buckley Collaborative to design and facilitate a Burn-Out Prevention Pilot for the High Utilizers of Virginia (HUV) Team, which employs community health workers to coordinate care for individuals with at least one psychiatric inpatient stay. The Burn-Out Prevention Program established a dedicated monthly space for frontline staff to engage with each other and trained facilitators to build trust, accountability, and skills.

In this webinar, viewers were introduced to Asia Brown and Enrique Enguidanos of Community Based Coordination Solutions, as well as Emet Bergman of Transformative Psychotherapy LLC and Laura Buckley of Buckley Collaborative. The presenters demonstrated how a community-based service coordination organization partnered with consultants to design and implement a year-long Burn-out Prevention Program for frontline staff and shared lessons learned. Additionally, they reviewed the process of implementing this work, topics learned, and impact made.
