We are thrilled to announce the new self-paced Office Based Addiction Treatment (OBAT) Care Team Training. This training is designed to provide the New Jersey substance use workforce with actionable knowledge and skills to support patients in navigating treatment and recovery. The self-paced format offers learners flexibility, allowing them to take the curriculum on their schedule and at their pace.

In partnership with New Jersey Family Care, we are proud to offer the curriculum at no cost for New Jersey OBAT navigators, providers/clinical support staff, and anyone else providing substance use care in New Jersey.

About the Office Based Addiction Treatment (OBAT) Care Team Training

  • Where to find it: courses.camdenhealth.org/learning-paths/obat-asynchronous
  • Who it’s for: This training is offered at no cost for New Jersey:
    • OBAT navigators and clinicians providing substance use care in New Jersey;
    • STAR/OORP navigators, peer support workers, and other SUD workers;
    • Primary care and other ambulatory practices considering implementing the OBAT model;
    • Support staff at practices implementing the OBAT model.
  • What it is: 5 online, self-paced courses that teach the knowledge, resources, and care planning skills needed to support patients who use drugs in navigating treatment and recovery
  • Accreditation: 12 interprofessional CEUs total are available upon completion of the full curriculum
