Dorothy Scott is a Community Health Worker for Care Management Initiatives working on the Camden Coalition’s Housing First program. Her primary role involves working with medically and socially complex patients experiencing chronic homelessness. With 25 years of direct care experience, her extensive knowledge of community resources helps patients remain stable in the homes, connecting them to social and medical resources as needed. In April of 2019, Dorothy received the Brown University Bear Award for Outstanding Direct Care Provider by the New Jersey Association of Mental Health and Addiction Agencies.
