With subject matter based on our experiences working with individuals with complex health and social needs in Camden, our custom-designed courses can support you in caring for complex populations. The Camden Coalition Learning Center is a collection of curated content by practitioners who have worked directly with individuals in their roles as community health workers, social workers, and nurses. Courses are experience-based and action-oriented and designed to provide learners with new skills to apply to their practice.

Complex Care Certificate

The Complex Care Certificate is a comprehensive self-paced online certificate containing nine courses designed to build frontline providers’ knowledge, skills, and confidence in delivering person-centered care for people with complex needs. Based in the complex care core competencies, this certificate is for individuals and teams from all disciplines and in all settings who are working with people with complex health and social needs. Individual courses are also available for purchase.

This certificate can be started at any time and CEUs are available.

COACH

Introducing COACH: Moving out of the “fix it” framework towards sustainable change, live, instructor-led trainings with supplemental reflection and learning activities to give you the knowledge, tools, and experience to implement our COACH patient engagement framework. This course is a unique e-learning experience that will reshape the way you interact with and deliver care to individuals you work with. Participants can expect to learn concrete behaviors that will elevate patient engagement, patient outcomes, and lead to sustainable change.

COACH is now available in two different formats to better fit your schedule and learning style. Sign up for either two 4-hour trainings or four 2-hour trainings

RELATE

RELATE: A reflective approach to supervising is a three-hour training that will give supervisors of team members who work directly with participants the knowledge, tools, and experience to implement our RELATE supervisory framework. In this live, instructor-led training, you will learn concrete behaviors that will help you prepare your frontline staff to be more introspective, self-aware, and able to handle the emotional impact of complex care work. This unique learning experience will reshape the way you manage staff.

Whole-person care for people who use drugs

Whole-person care for people who use drugs will cover the neuroscience of addiction, dive into some of the commonly used medication assisted treatments for opioid use disorders, discuss stigma around addiction, explore strategies for use of person-centered language, introduce trauma informed approaches to care, and harm reduction practices that support whole person care. This course is intended for anyone who is working in the addiction space and/or are interested in learning basic knowledge, skills, and techniques to support their work with individuals experiencing addiction or substance use disorder.
